Introducing Successful You ng Figures of the year 2020
The objective of this conference was introduction of 16 successful youths of the year, with representatives of presidency and chief executive office, representatives of political parties and civil society organizations, representatives of international organizations, some MPs , university students and youth rights activists attended this conference, Introduction of the successful youths of the year is an initiative taken by FEFA in the country. The objective of this program is identification and introduction of successful youths and convincing them to take part in political processes and decision makings. The youths who have considerable achievement in democratic fields are appreciated through this program and their biography along with all their activities are published in a book. The conference began by recitation of some verses of Holy Quran and playing of the National Anthem. Then, Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Rasheed, executive director of FEFA delivered the opening remarks and said, “Nowadays, youths face several economic, political and social problems but they must not be disappointed because beside these problems, there are educational and job opportunities for them he talked importance of women and youth participation in national process Mr. Rasheed added that youth have been in the decision-making process for years, and that parliament is one of the examples, but they still face lack of cooperation. Beside, youth were involved in the 2019elections and campaigns, so it is time to hold politicians accountable. He added that the peace process is currently a strategic opportunity for youth to think about their future, As Subsequently, Mrs. Arween talked about mechanism of selection She added that 310 people have applied this year, 64 of them invited for face to face interview, and 16 have been introduce as the successful young figures of the year. Shams Rasikh (Legal Adviser - Monitoring and Evaluation Manager) discussed the technical issues of the program, he said. Among 64 candidates we found that most of them have future plan and well known the importance of communication and networking.
