Election and political participation are the tools used by all eligible layers of the society to elect the president and their representatives to elective bodies. Increasing youth’s understanding from political processes requires devising and implementation of cohesive programs by the relevant bodies. FEFA has implemented several programs to break the barriers that hindered political participation by youth.
Following consists the work flow that is undertaken by the youth advocacy group of FEFA in order to strengthen women political rights to participate in democratic processes.
The Youth Political rights Advocacy Group (YPRAG) is made up from MPs, representatives of civil society organizations, electoral commissions, member of provincial council, deputy of youth affairs and media with technical assistance of FEFA to lobby/advocacy for youth rights and strengthen youth participation at political processes. The group has developed several proposals and presented to relevant entities.
